Riverbend is back and better than ever in 2022, and this year’s festival will feature three nights of incredible and diverse music at Ross’s Landing. With headliners like Brothers Osborne (Friday), Cage the Elephant (Saturday), and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit (Sunday), you know you’ll be in for a good show. Celebrating 35 years, Nightfall at Miller Park is a Chattanooga tradition and a free community event. In June, expect to see big names like Teddy Thompson Band, Wildermiss, Opposite Box, Original FBI, and Lakou Mizik take the stage on Friday nights. Bring your folding chair, some money for concessions, and a friend – this event takes place rain or shine!

Kicking off a month’s worth of Juneteenth celebrations, The RBG (Red, Black, and Green) Ball is a black-tie affair to honor local Black artists in the disciplines of music, dance, visual arts, literature, theatre, and film. In addition to an awards ceremony, the inaugural gala will include a meal prepared by celebrity chef Kenyatta Ashford. The RBG Ball will be held at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Part of the exclusive 2022 McLemore Songwriter Series – which runs from May through October – the Singing Sisters Concert will showcase all-female lineup Lauren Jenkins, Kim Richey, and Lucie Silvas. These three Grammy award-winning artists will be performing their hit songs in an intimate setting at McLemore Club. Tickets are $55.

Celebrate joy and hope at Austin Hatcher Foundation’s second annual Bubbles of Fun Run, where runners raise funds to provide a brighter future for families faced with pediatric cancer. This one-mile fun run and timed 5K and 10K races, which start from Hubert Fry Center River Park – Shelter #4, will have bubbles blown at various stations throughout the course, and participants can blow their own bubbles, too!

Chances are, you haven’t seen a runway quite like this. The Humane Educational Society is hosting its Rescues on the Runway spotlighting – you guessed it – some adorable models with tails. Taking place at the Chattanooga Convention Center from 6 until 10 p.m., the event also includes a cocktail hour, three-course meal, live auction, and socializing with adoptable ambassador dogs, puppies, and kittens.

Calling all pups! The Tails & Trails 5K Summer Fun Run at Lula Lake Land Trust, located atop Lookout Mountain, is the perfect race for runners and their four-legged friends. The classic course snakes through the heart of Lula Lake’s scenic Core Preserve, and after the race, everyone can enjoy food, live music, and vendors in the meadow. The fun begins at 10 a.m.

You have lots of opportunities to see the Chattanooga Lookouts baseball team in action this month, but there’s only one Star Wars night. This special event is returning to AT&T Field with fireworks and Star Wars jerseys to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The Lookouts take on the Biloxi Shuckers at 7:15 p.m.

You are cordially invited to Crabtree Farms’ annual 100 Dinner, with more seats this year to accommodate even more guests. The farm-to-table experience features food and beverages sourced from within 100 miles of the farm and prepared by Chattanooga’s best chefs. Coupled with the dreamy farm scenery and live music, this magical evening will be one to remember. All funds will support the many educational and community programs at Crabtree Farms.

The second annual Boozy Brunch Crawl is taking over Chattanooga’s Northshore on June 18 starting at noon. General admission tickets for the 21+ event include four brunch items, exclusive drink specials at every stop, a signature digital crawl map, and DJs and entertainment, while VIP tickets additionally include a signature champagne glass, extra brunch item, and early registration.

First Horizon Pavilion will be home to the Summer Cocktail Festival on June 24 from 6 until 9 p.m. Come cool down with summer-inspired cocktails – a ticket gets you 12 sample-sized cocktails and access to all areas of the event, which also includes local food, a photo booth, an epic dance party, and more.

Think you have what it takes to compete in a triathlon? There’s no better setting than the Scenic City, and the spectator-friendly Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon is set in the heart of downtown. Presented by Team Magic and the Chattanooga Track Club, this race sends participants on a down-river swim, a two-loop bike course, and a run along the Tennessee Riverwalk.
