Tell It On the Mountain – Walden’s Ridge Civic League

April 5th

You haven’t been told a tall tale – storytelling is back at the Walden Ridge Civic League! Your whole family is invited to Signal Mountain for the spring storytelling event. Kick off the evening with s’mores by the campfire and settle in for epic narratives and storytelling contests. S’mores and food begin at 4:30pm and the storytelling at 5:30pm.

2024 MAC Gala

April 5th

Can you feel the electricity? McKamey Animal Center’s annual black tie event, the MAC Gala, returns in April. This year’s “It’s Electric!” theme invites guests to embrace the energy of the evening while raising vital funds for animal rescue. The gala features two auctions, live entertainment, and a Snuggle Lounge where guests can cuddle adoptable puppies and kittens. The ‘After Paw-ty’ begins at 9pm with dancing, drinks, and tunes featuring DJ Tony Dub from First Verse Productions.

Flora Luna - Rock City

April 5th-May 12th

See the spring beauty of the Rock City Gardens under cover of night at Flora Luna. The innate beauty of the gardens blend with light and shadow to produce profound displays and create a unique visitor experience. Season Opener - Chattanooga Lookouts

April 9th-11th

Baseball season is back in Chattanooga. The Scenic City’s minor league baseball team hosts the Tennessee Smokies for their home opener at AT&T Field on April 9th. The wait is over, so dust off your Lookouts gear and head out to the ballpark to cheer your favorite team on to a win!

Believe Bash

April 13th

The 8th Annual Believe Bash boasts a taste of France in Tennessee at the Chattanooga Area Convention Center. This year’s black tie gala theme is Paris: The City of Lights. The bash features dinner, dancing, and a live auction, and the proceeds from the night will bolster the work of the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. 

11th Annual Chattanooga Autism Celebration Walk

April 13th

Show your support for Chattanooga’s autistic community at the Chattanooga Autism Celebration Walk. Hosted by the Chattanooga Autism Center, the walk invites Chattanoogans to gather a team or plan to walk solo through Coolidge Park to raise support for this community. Harlem Globetrotters: 2024 World Tour

April 14th

A night with the Harlem Globetrotters is sure to be a slam dunk! The Globetrotters are bringing their world-famous antics to UTC McKenzie Arena for a leg of their 2024 World Tour. The Globetrotters will face off against the Washington Generals and look to notch another victory against their rivals. John Mellencamp: Live and In Person

April 15th

Grammy Award-winning artist and rock legend John Mellencamp will perform at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium for a stop on his US tour. 4 Bridges Art Festival

April 19th-21st

Calling all art-lovers! Chattanooga’s 4 Bridges Art Festival draws artists from around the country to showcase their handiwork and inspire local artisans. On Friday, April 19th, the Preview Party kicks off the festivities with a cocktail event. Then on Saturday and Sunday, join 145 artists at the First Horizon Pavilion for a family-friendly festival as they display their talents and sell their masterpieces.

2024 Safe and Conservation Awareness Days - Chattanooga Zoo

Join the Chattanooga Zoo in April for the second of three spring events to raise awareness for at-risk species. To celebrate Earth Day, the zoo invites you to learn more about local and global efforts to protect endangered plants and animals, including SAFE (saving animals from extinction) and SSP (species survival plans). You can exercise your creativity through arts and crafts and participate in animal enrichment activities as you learn. Purchase your general admission ticket for access to all the special events!

The Moth Ball by CityScope

April 25th

It’s almost time for The Moth Ball by CityScope! This annual dinner and dance at The New Signal invites the ladies of Chattanooga to re-discover their old formal attire, prom dresses, and wedding dresses and pay homage to past fashion. Funds raised from the event will go to the 2024 beneficiary, Love’s Arm, to support their mission of caring for exploited women in Hamilton Country and North Georgia. The 2024 event is sold out, but you can still donate to the cause.

2024 Opening Weekend - The Chattanooga Market

April 27th-28th

The Chattanooga Market returns to the First Horizon Pavilion for its 2024 Opening Weekend! The new season promises more fresh food and flowers, food trucks, music, and handcrafted goods, so head downtown for this local favorite!
