DESCRIPTION:The Walk Run Pedal Jamz Festival® is a community celebration – an energetic\, family friendly fundraiser taking place on October 31 at The Chattanooga Green inside Ross’s Landing\, right along the scenic downtown riverfront beside the Tennessee Aquarium. This FREE festival invites residents and visitors alike to come and enjoy an event that is fun with a purpose. \nThis festival benefits the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga. In the morning\, participants can participate in a 2-mile walk\, 2-mile run\, and/or 8–10-mile bike ride – all casual\, welcoming\, and designed for every age and ability. 100% of the donations from these events goes directly to the Urban League’s life changing initiatives. Registration is available online at www.walkrunpedaljamzfestival.com. \nBeginning at 11 a.m.\, the riverfront transforms into a lively festival atmosphere featuring food trucks\, vendor tents\, and free giveaways including bikes\, guitars\, and fun health and fitness items. Families will enjoy free face painting\, a toddler walk\, and a costume contest with prizes for the top three winners. The festival also showcases live music from the Dexter Thomas Band.
