Pilates for Wellness – IN-PERSON CLASS

Pilates is a sequence of movements designed for longevity & health of the spine through conscious connection and strengthening of core (back, hips and deep abdominals) muscles. Learn a basic, functional routine that can ease stress and tension, reconnect your mind, body and breath and enhance movement patterns. Kirstin Hill is partnering with Dr. Chris Collins for this class. Learn practices that reconnect and align you with your food. Understand the importance of mitigating stress and inflammation to support the gut microbiome (a foundational pillar of health). Receive tips and recommendations to empower you while grocery shopping and eating out. Note: Please bring your own yoga mat. About the instructors: Dr. Collins is a holistic practitioner, women’s health advocate, Chattanooga local liaison, and all around super-dad. He practices at The Specific Chiropractic Centers in the Northshore, and his passion for health goes beyond the spine and focuses on supporting the nervous system and helping clients create holistic healthy lifestyles. He is currently authoring his first book on how to help women reclaim their relationship with health. Kirstin Hill is a licensed and credentialed wellness expert passionate about health, nutrition and healing your body. She does this by not only addressing the physical, but the mental, emotional, and spiritual qualities of an individual. She guides others as they navigate through their health journey, supporting them with genuine information and empowering them with the tools and practices to tap into the innate wisdom of their own body.
