Wood-turned Vessels & Abstract Landscape Paintings
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Headline: Wood-turned Vessels & Abstract Landscape Paintings
Subheadline: Woodturning and abstract landscapes featured in January 2026 River Gallery Exhibit
Chattanooga, Date: River Gallery (400 East 2nd Street), January 1 – 31, 2026. Exhibit features wood-turned vessels by Marc Granberry and abstract landscape paintings by Joanna McNally.
Opening Reception: January 16, 2026, 6-8PM. Free and open to the public. Meet artists Marc Granberry and Joanna McNally! Light hors d’oeuvres and libations, courtesy of the Bluff View District.
About the Exhibition:
The elegant vessels of Marc Granberry are the result of a lifelong love for woodturning. In treating the natural wood as his “canvas”, with an emphasis on color and form, he brings out each piece’s “inherent natural beauty.”
The colorful, striking landscapes of Joanna McNally are inspired by the “beautiful chaos” of nature she has witnessed throughout her travels across America. She strives to evoke the magic of being immersed in the natural world.
