The Rotary Club of Chattanooga was organized in 1914 and is the oldest and largest club in the organization’s District 6780. The Chattanooga Hamilton Place Rotary was chartered in 1990, the Breakfast Rotary Club in 2002, and the Nooga Night Rotary Club in 2019. The most recent addition to this lineup, Rotary Rocks Chattanooga, was established in 2025. Rotary clubs meet in other communities in Southeast Tennessee, North Georgia, and around the world and consist of friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad.
