East Brainerd has a housing option to accommodate any budget and style. Homes of all sizes can be found in popular neighborhoods Ashley Mill, Brock Pointe, Emerald Valley, Inverness, Mountain Shadows, Reunion, Shadow Ridge, Twin Brook, and Westview Crossing, and townhomes are available at Addison’s Place, Brookside Commons, Holland Gardens, and soon, Heron Square. EDUCATION

Elementary students can attend East Brainerd Elementary and Westview Elementary, while older students can attend East Hamilton Middle and High Schools. Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation and Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics both have outpatient therapy centers in East Brainerd, and Parkridge East Hospital and two campuses of Parkridge Valley are only a short drive away. Senior care facilities include Morning Pointe of East Hamilton and Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford. Also in the area, The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga offers specialized services for memory care.

TRANSPORTATION

East Brainerd residents are located near I-75, I-59, and I-24, allowing for convenient access to Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, and Knoxville. The area also has quick access to the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport and downtown Chattanooga.

GROCERY STORES

Both upscale and discount grocery chains are not hard to come by in East Brainerd. Stores such as Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and The Fresh Market stock natural and organic grocery items, and even more options can be found at Publix, Walmart Supercenter, ALDI, and Food City. Those interested in expanding their culinary horizons can check out local offerings such as Asian Market, Taj International Foods and Spices, and Indian Grocery Kitchen Spices.

SHOPPING

East Brainerd’s commercial offerings are anchored by Hamilton Place Mall, which offers over 1 million feet of retailers and restaurants – including Barnes & Noble, H&M, and department stores Belk, Dillard’s, and JCPenney. Additional shopping centers are located around the mall, including Hamilton Corner, Hamilton Crossing, The Terrace at Hamilton Place, and The Shoppes at Hamilton Place.

DINING

With dozens of restaurants located in and around Hamilton Place Mall, plus plenty more across East Brainerd, there’s a dining option for every taste and occasion. Patrons have their choice of fast-casual options, sports bars, fine dining, and everything in between.

ENTERTAINMENT

Endless family fun awaits in East Brainerd, from escape rooms at Breakout Games to exciting activities at Sky Zone Trampoline Park and Urban Air Adventure Park. Additionally, Hamilton Place Mall is home to entertainment destination Dave & Buster’s, featuring arcade games, virtual reality, and sports fun.

OUTDOORS & PARKS

Those looking for a retreat into nature can visit Audubon Acres, Chattanooga’s oldest wildlife sanctuary. The 130-acre preserve features 5 miles of trails, Cherokee history, and access to South Chickamauga Creek. Located off Jenkins Road, Heritage Park includes a playground, walking paths, dog park, and picnic area. First-time and avid golfers alike can enjoy a wide selection of golf clubs, including Brainerd Golf Course, Brown Acres Golf Course, Concord Golf Club, and Council Fire Golf Club.

ARTS & ATTRACTIONS

Heritage Park is also home to the Don Eaves Heritage House, which hosts free public events such as markets and concerts, as well as private gatherings throughout the year. The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum is only a short drive away and offers train rides, seasonal events for the whole family, and insight into the Chattanooga area’s rich rail history.
