Opened in 2013, Cambridge Square has quickly grown into a top spot for shopping and dining in the heart of Ooltewah. At the mixed-use development, residents and guests alike are sure to find the perfect spot for brunch, family meals, and fine dining, as well as for shopping gifts, clothing, jewelry, flowers, and more. The Ooltewah Nursery & Landscape Co. offers residents fresh, locally grown produce every Thursday year-round, as well as garden supplies and more. Area grocery chains include ALDI, Food City, Publix, and Walmart Supercenter.

FESTIVALS

Cambridge Square is also home to the Ooltewah Strawberry Festival, with fresh strawberries provided by local farmers like Smith-Perry Berries – host to popular U-pick events throughout the year – as well as other seasonal celebrations with fun for the whole family. More fun can be found at the Ooltewah Farmers Market’s Melon Fest. Featuring seed-spitting contests and melon-based goods, the event has been an Ooltewah staple for more than 10 years.

OUTDOORS & PARKS

Ooltewah has convenient access to several prominent Chattanooga parks and the many green spaces of Collegedale – including Little Debbie Park, where kids can climb and play on life-size statues of the fan-favorite pastries. Located just outside Ooltewah, Enterprise South Nature Park is situated on 2,800 wooded acres with a 40-mile recreational trail system. Guests can explore and discover the park’s history as part of the Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant property by either hiking, mountain biking, or horseback riding.

SPORTS

Hosting many state, regional, national, and international amateur championships, The Honors Course is a prestigious private golf club featuring a course designed by Pete Dye in the 1980s. A few miles north, The Ooltewah Club offers its members 18 holes of golf, a driving range, tennis and pickleball courts, and a swimming pool, among other amenities. Ooltewah Swim Center provides pool activities and swimming lessons for all ages, while The Summit of Softball Complex features eight playing fields and hosts adult and youth leagues alongside recreational play.
