How we started:
When John Allen, the president and founder of Brown Haven Homes, graduated from the University of Georgia, he moved back home to start his career. After a few months of selling real estate, he decided to transition into the land development business. He found a property he liked, but the owner, Farmer Brown, was not interested in selling – until John offered to name his proposed neighborhood “Brown Haven Heights” in appreciation of Farmer Brown. A deal was struck, and Brown Haven Homes was born.
