It’s officially spooky season! If you’re looking for a fall-inspired activity with your friends, family, or significant other, look no further than Chattanooga’s pumpkin patches. With hayrides, corn mazes, and much, much more, it’s sure to be fun for everyone involved. Below, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best pumpkin patches in the Scenic City and surrounding areas. Weaver Tree Farms Pumpkin Stand

7 minutes from downtown Chattanooga

Address: 308 Signal Mountain Road, Chattanooga, TN

While it may not have corn mazes and hayrides, the Weaver Tree Farms pumpkin stand is a great option for those looking to snag some pumpkins without having to drive too far outside of the city. With pumpkins, gourds, straw, fall decorations, and more, this is a one-stop shop for all your fall-related needs.

Address: 638 Bowman Cemetery Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN

Flat Top Mountain Farm offers the classic pumpkin patch experience. At $12 per person, with children 3 and under entering for free, each participant receives a small pumpkin, two corn mazes, a sunflower maze, and a scenic hayride. And don’t forget to check out the food trucks and other vendors throughout the farm. More pumpkins, ranging from minis to large carving pumpkins can be purchased at an additional price.

While you’re Flat Top for the fall festival, check out the farm’s flower fields. For $14, you can pick as many flowers as will fit in your bucket. Bucket refills are only $10.

Guthrie Pumpkin Farm & Corn Maze

51 minutes from downtown Chattanooga

Address: 490 County Road 67, Riceville, TN

For 25 years, the Guthrie Pumpkin Farm has hosted fall-themed fun for all ages. At $22 per person, guests will have access to the farm’s petting zoo, corn maze, and hayride to the pumpkin patch. The farm also offers other fun activities, like a tricycle race, seesaws, a corn tub, checkers, and more. If you’re feeling peckish, stop by the farm’s concession stand that offers classic fair food, like chili, funnel cakes, deep-fried Oreos, and more.

Ocoee Valley Pumpkin Patch

Ocoee Valley Farms - The River Maze

Address: 1371 Highway 64, Benton, TN

Ocoee Valley Farms boasts more than 25 different attractions, games, and activities for the entire family to enjoy. With pumpkin and flower picking, a bounce pad, farm animals, and plenty of kid-friendly games, Ocoee Valley Farms has no shortage of fun in store.

One of the farm’s most unique features is The River Maze, an 8-acre corn maze. This year’s theme is “Getting Lost in Ocoee.” If eight acres seems too intimidating, check out the farm’s other four options: No Left Turn Maze, Soybean Maze, Color Maze, and Spookley, the Square Pumpkin Maze.

Copper Creek Farm

Address: 1514 Reeves Station Road, Calhoun, GA

From classic fall activities for the whole family to haunted trails for the brave souls among us, Copper Creek Farm has it all. Popular attractions include the hayride, corn mazes, and haunted corn maze. This year, the farm is introducing new activities, like a caramel apple barn and their new miniature pony, named Trigger. On certain nights, make sure to stick around until dusk to enjoy the farm’s breathtaking fireworks show.

If you need a pick-me-up, stop by the Copper Creek Grill for hot food and refreshing drinks or by the Country Cabin for a variety of sweet treats. And don’t forget to stop by the General Store to grab a snack for the road or a t-shirt to remember your trip.

Mayfield Farm Chattanooga pumpkin patch

Mayfield Farm Park

1 hour and 2 minutes from downtown Chattanooga

Address: 257 Highway 307, Athens, TN

The Mayfield Farm Park offers over 40 acres of fun this fall season. This pumpkin patch features three corn mazes, a silo light show, U-pick sunflowers and zinnias, hayrides, and a total of 40 family-friendly fall activities. Don’t forget to pick the perfect pumpkin from their 50 different varieties. If you’re feeling competitive, try out Mayfield’s “All You Can Carry” deal for $39.99.

While you’re at the farm, check out Mayfield’s delicious on-site treats, including cotton candy, fried Oreos, and hand-dipped Mayfield ice cream. You can also stop by the Exit Barn, which features local produce, baked goods, décor, and gifts.

Grandaddy’s Farm

1 hour and 31 minutes from downtown Chattanooga

Address: 454 Highland Ridge Road, Estill Springs, TN

For those who aren’t afraid of a longer drive, be sure to check out Grandaddy’s Farm in Estill Springs, Tennessee. This year, they’re celebrating their 17th season as an agritourism destination in Middle Tennessee. Take a hayride to their pumpkin patch, where you can cut your own pumpkin right off the vine, or take a turn through their corn maze (at night if you want an added challenge).

Admission to the farm costs $15.95 plus tax Tuesday through Friday and $17.95 plus tax on Saturdays with a separate $5 charge per pumpkin purchased in the field.

Featuring wooden play structures, slides (as long as 50 feet), and benches and pavilions for gathering, this playground is the perfect stop for the families. Just remember – while it may be pumpkin themed, there’s no pumpkin picking at this stop.

Bonus: Pumpkin Patch Playground

Address: 1836 Taft Highway, Signal Mountain, TN

While not actually a pumpkin patch, the Pumpkin Patch Playground is still worth mentioning for some fall-themed fun that can be enjoyed all year long. Built in 1996 by Signal Mountain residents and volunteers, the Pumpkin Patch Playground encourages kids to imagine, create, and play in the natural mountain landscape.

Featuring wooden play structures, slides (as long as 50 feet), and benches and pavilions for gathering, this playground is the perfect stop for the families. Just remember – while it may be pumpkin themed, there’s no pumpkin picking at this stop.
