Author Chatt with Eleanor McCallie Cooper

November 10 from 4:30-6pm

Join us on the 4th Floor of our Downtown Library for an Author Chatt with local author Eleanor McCallie Cooper!

Her latest novel, Dragonfly Dreams tales the story of Nini, a young Chinese girl whose family must go into hiding during WWII to protect her American mother from being arrested and sent to an internment camp.

Based on the true story of Grace McCallie Divine, this story captures the drama of Westerners trapped in China during World War II.

Ms. Cooper will be talking about both the novel and the real life story, as well as her craft, the struggles of publishing, and more! Learn more about the author and her book at eleanormccalliecooper.com.
