Brickmaking with Booker T Washington State Park
January 20th and March 9th at 10am

Did you know that there is a rich history to brickmaking and its connection to Booker T Washington? Ranger Jordan from the state park will be teaching us all about the history of brick making, how they are made, and how to make our own.

You’ll get your hands dirty making sure there are no impurities, decorating your brick, and molding it. You can take home your brick, but you’ll have to wait approximately a week before you can pick it up. You will be emailed when your bricks are ready to be picked up at Audubon Acres.

This program is for ages 6+
$10 per member making a brick, $15 per non-member making a brick
