Most events are free with admission to Audubon Acres, but some require an extra fee.

Explore the Spring Frog Cabin, a true piece of history decorated for the season, during your self-guided tour. Our knowledgeable docent will be available to answer your questions and share fascinating insights into the cabin’s rich past, offering a unique opportunity to connect with the heritage of the area.
Long Gun Demonstration- 9:00am-3:00pm (Free with admission to Audubon Acres)
Our favorite old-timey friends will be setting up camp by Spring Frog Cabin to demonstrate their old-time ways as well as demonstrate their long guns.
Christmas Dinners of Past- 10:00 am (Free with admission to Audubon Acres)
Ever wondered about the Christmas dinners of generations past? Join a food historian as they transport you to a time when holiday feasts were a cherished tradition. Discover the special dishes that adorned the table, the techniques used to prepare them, and the heartwarming stories behind these festive meals.
Wreath Making- 11:00 am (Additional fee of $65, please register here)
Channel your inner artist and create a beautiful holiday wreath under the expert guidance of Joli Jardin, a beloved local florist. All materials will be provided, and you’ll have the chance to customize your wreath, making it a unique addition to your holiday decor.
Historic Herbal Medicine- 12:30 pm (Additional fee of $30, please register here)
Join Carmen from NoogaHoneyPot as she delves into the world of historic herbal medicine. Learn about the remedies of the past, the ingredients used, and the methods employed in crafting these age-old cures. You may be surprised at how these ancient practices can still be relevant today. We will make some seasonal medicinal herbal teas in class and students will go home with some surprises.
Natural Ornament Making- 2:00 pm (Free with admission to Audubon Acres)
Get in touch with your creative side and craft rustic ornaments using natural materials found right here at Audubon Acres. This hands-on activity allows you to make unique decorations for your tree while connecting with the beauty of the natural world.
