This day offers glimpses into the ancestors of the Coosa Chiefdoms and celebrates Native People coming together and sharing their cultures.
The COOSA CHIEFDOM is made up of ALL the Ancestors of The Five Civilized Tribes & Others
Program will include:
Memorial for Ga Lv Lo Li No Gwi Shi U Sti (Little Heavenly Stars)
Historic Presentation-Soliloquy of Red Horn Morning Star by Aaron Nichols
Native Pottery Demonstration-Master Sculptor & Potter Loren Howard
“The Trail Was A Circle” Anthem composed by Dr. Jim Burns and performed by Justin McElhaney, Elizabeth McElhaney, and Beverly Curran Jordan
