Easter Community Dinner with Union Gospel Mission
April 4 from 1-3pm
Well, it is time once again for our Annual Community Easter Dinner!
Every year we provide a “traditional” Easter Dinner to those in the community, we always gear it towards those who are homeless or in need or underserved; but we welcome anyone and everyone to come and join us.
What better way to celebrate the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Saviour, than by going out and showing His Love and Grace in a VERY REAL WAY! Last Easter was the first of our “COVID” Community Dinners and this Easter, will hopefully be our last!
Come and join us on Sunday April 4th, 2021 for an Easter Dinner of Ham, Green Beans, Potatoes, Rolls, Dessert, and Drink! We will be handing out “to-go” meals from 1pm until 3pm (or until all meals are gone) at the following locations:
M.L. King & Georgia Ave. (Near Miller Park)
AND
M.L. King and Houston St. (Near the Bessie Smith Cultural Center)
There will be opportunities to Volunteer, either to prepare the meals at our location or to hand out meals. If you are interested in helping please contact us (call, email)! You, your family, Church, small group, Bible study group, or anyone else is welcome to come!
We are also currently looking for help with supplies: Hams, Canned Potatoes, Canned Green Beans, Rolls, Desserts, & Bottled Water!
