FULL MOON YOGA HIKE
March 17 – June 13 at 6pm
Take time away in nature to breathe deep, relax, and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature during sunset. Join us as we gather in community to partake in a beginner-friendly yoga practice with a 500 Hour Certified Yoga Instructor. The one hour yoga session will focus on reconnecting with ourselves and to the natural world around us by attuning our bodies with nature through breath and movement. Afterwards, we will explore the trails at Stringer’s Ridge Park at sunset and under the rising full moon on a guided hike with Outshine Adventures. This 3-mile, leisurely paced hike will lead up to an overlook to get the best view of the full moon rising over the Scenic city’s nighttime skyline. Experienced guides will be there to illuminate the way and provide information about the area. Hikers should wear sturdy shoes, clothes appropriate for the weather and bring their own water and a headlamp.
