S.H.E. Trucking 2021 Expo
September 17 from 10am-7pm and September 18 from 10am-4pm
The S.H.E. TRUCKING 2021 EXPO takes place Friday & Saturday, Sept. 17 & 18, at the Chattanooga Convention Center, Exhibit Hall A, One Carter Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402. It features over 100 vendors (with giveaways and items for sale), seminars, show trucks, live entertainment, a Truck ’N Paint art therapy session, and children’s activities. The expo is free and open to the public on Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A first of its kind here to highlight women and minority leaders in the trucking and transportation industry, the expo is the brainchild of Sharae Moore, Founder/CEO of S.H.E. Trucking, LLC and one of a few African American female owner-operators in the nation.
A Chattanooga resident, her goals are to: recognize the value, challenges and needs of truck drivers; introduce young adults (ages 18-25), women, minorities, ex-offenders, and others to the benefits of getting a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL); and reduce the number of area job vacancies in the trucking, logistics and transportation industry (including freight, recycling, garbage, and bus drivers).
“Everyone is welcome to join our celebration because everyone is welcomed into this industry,” Moore said. “We need your help to show how much we appreciate truckers and others in transportation!”
