Back on tour for the first time in 40 years, the seven-time Tony-winning hit, “The Wiz,” is coming to the Sailors and Soldiers Memorial Auditorium! The reimagining of Frank L. Baum’s “The Wizard of Oz” presents a vibrant musical infused with soul, gospel, funk, and R&B and features an entirely African-American cast. Join Dorothy, Toto, Tinman, Scarecrow, and Lion as they dance off to see the wizard. Directed by Schele Williams with additional material by Amber Ruffin and choreographed by Jaquel Knight. The shows start at 7:30 p.m. with tickets starting at $90.
