WELLkids and RAD Summer Camps at Southern Adventist University
Keep your kids moving and exploring the great outdoors this summer with Southern Adventist University’s WELLkids and RAD Camp summer programs beginning June 8 in Collegedale. Week-long sessions run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and offer adventures led by professionals trained in outdoor education. Activities are subject to weather but aim to keep all campers outside and active each day.
WELLkids Camp introduces kids ages 8-12 to nature and outdoor sports. Campers engage in archery, caving, canoeing, rafting, river snorkeling, ropes courses, and swimming. RAD Camp is geared towards teens ages 13-16 with an emphasis on adventure and building skills in outdoor sports, such as extreme caving, canoeing, obstacle courses, rappelling, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and ziplining.
Cost is $330 per child per week, with campers bringing their own sack lunches each day.
