Numerous Lions Clubs are active in the Chattanooga area, providing charitable contributions that serve the community, including but not limited to, sight preservation and eye disorders assistance. Through the KidSight Outreach program, over 690,000 preschool children in Tennessee have received vision screenings. The organization also provides financial support for Tennessee School for the Blind, Tennessee School for the Deaf, Leader Dogs, Learning Ally, and Hamilton County Lions Sight Services. Lions Club International has 1.4 million members in over 200 countries and celebrated 100 years of service in 2017.
