The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is a professional organization that was founded in 1948 and today boasts over 275,000 members worldwide. Southeast Tennessee SHRM (formally SHRM Chattanooga) is an affiliate chapter of SHRM and is comprised of human resource professionals throughout Southeast Tennessee. Southeast Tennessee SHRM supports those new to human resources as well as those who have many years of experience, and it offers opportunities for networking, education, professional development, and continued support of excellence in human resources.
