Breakfast is daily from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Dinner is served Tuesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and brunch is only on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All of Whitebird’s different options are sure to delight foodies and families alike. The large breakfast and brunch menus offer everything from muffins and yogurt parfaits to tartines and scrambler plates. Whitebird even has the perfect Southern comfort breakfast – chicken and waffles!
For dinner, the chefs mix it up with exotic options such as pappardelle venison bolognese and Verlasso salmon with white wine poached oysters. As the very first rooftop cocktail lounge in Chattanooga, Whiskey Thief – named after a whiskey distilling tool – steals the show for whiskey lovers everywhere. It’s open Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with brunch served on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Though Tennessee-focused, it boasts whiskeys from around the nation and the world – Kentucky, Scotch, Irish, Canadian, and Asian are all available for your consumption. If whiskey isn’t your drink of choice, Whiskey Thief has several other options to choose from. The lounge has a sizable menu that includes wines, beers, vodkas, gins, tequilas, mezcal, rum, cognac, and brandy. Its specialty cocktails menu should definitely not be overlooked either.
This week, the weekly cocktail is a peppermint patty shot (house-infused peppermint vodka and Giffard crème de cacao). While Whiskey Thief is focused on drinks, it does have a selection of food on the menu such as snacks, shareables, and desserts. It’s open at 7 a.m. Sunday through Saturday and close at 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. It has typical café fare, such as pastries, salads, and sandwiches, and has different latte flavor options such as honey cinnamon, lavender, and mocha.
