Founded in 2002, the SimCenter is the center for multidisciplinary research at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), serving not only as a research accelerator for the campus but also acting as a core facility for high-performance computing and storage. Through these research efforts, the SimCenter addresses challenging problems in multiple application areas, trains undergraduate and graduate students to join the future workforce, and supports ongoing economic development initiatives in Chattanooga and beyond.
