Things to Do in Chattanooga: June

Welcome to your go-to source for Chattanooga’s top events! With the summer heat comes outdoor adventures and lasting memories that are just waiting to be made. From Father’s Day celebrations to family foam parties, U-pick events, Summerween parties, and more, there is a plethora of things to do in Chattanooga this June.

All Month Long

Every June, Lookout Mountain Lavender Farm invites the public to their U-Pick Lavender Event. With $8 admission, guests can explore and harvest from the lavender fields, grab a bite from the daily food truck, visit the Lav Shack for homemade products, or sit back and enjoy the fragrant scents and scenic views of the 55-acre farm.

Chattanooga’s original free concert series, Nightfall is back with four free concerts this June at Miller Plaza and Miller Park. Gates open at 6 p.m. with an art market in the park, beverage sales, food trucks, and concerts beginning at 7 p.m. Visit the website for the artist lineup.

June 6, 13, 20, and 27

Enjoy music under the stars at Ross’s Landing during the Tennessee Valley Authority Federal Credit Union’s Riverfront Nights. Every Saturday night from May 23 through September 5, guests can enjoy free live music from some of the area’s most vibrant and talented artists. See the lineup online.

Celebrate the wonders beneath the surface at Ruby Falls on the National Day of Caves and Karst. Explore the underground world with guided cave tours, interactive activities, and fascinating insights into the importance of caves and karst landscapes.

¡Vamos a celebrar! at the fourth annual June Fest in East Lake Park. From 1 to 5 p.m., experience the vibrant cultures, traditions, and creativity of South and Central America through delicious food, unique vendors and handmade gifts, live music, dance performances, and art displays showcasing rich cultural traditions. 

June 7 

Returning to Coolidge Park this year, The Walnut Street Bridge Festival is back for its 4th annual family-friendly, high-energy celebration! The free event invites attendees to enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, a KidZone with pony rides, handmade goods from local vendors, and other community activities. 

June 7 

This party is going to be pure 6-7! Presented by the City of Fort Oglethorpe, 6-7 Family Fun Night is a lively community event at Gilbert-Stephenson Park that’s packed with foam fun, cornhole, yard games, and free swimming in the city pool from 6 to 8 p.m. 

June 8-14 

Think inside the bun at Chattanooga’s first annual Sandwich Week! Expanding from BBQ Week to include all sandwiches, lunch-goers and sandwich lovers can enjoy delectable featured sandwiches for only $8 across the Scenic City. 

June 13

Southside Juneteenth Jubilee, hosted by the Bethlehem Center, is an annual celebration of freedom and reverence! The community event is free to attend and will feature local vendors, food, and live music, with presentations from local guest speakers from 1 to 4 p.m.

Get ready to paw-ty at the McKamey Animal Center’s annual Paw Palooza! From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Coolidge Park, the free festival will include dog-friendly games, contests, local vendors, food trucks, a pet walk, and much more to help fundraise for the shelter. Registration and donations are encouraged for the pet walk.

June 13

Celebrate two birthdays in one – the Auditorium’s 105th and America’s 250th – at the Walden’s Ridge Civic League’s Birthday Bash on The Mountain! From 4 to 8 p.m., guests can gather under the tent to enjoy free birthday cake and ice cream, music, balloons, adult- and kid-friendly games, and much more!

June 16 

To foster the continued growth and development of football within the next generation, theTennessee Titans are hosting seven youth football camps across the state of Tennessee. Open to all children ages 7-14, the coed Chattanooga camp will take place at Chattanooga Christian School on June 16, with fundamentals, position techniques, the importance of teamwork, and more taught by Titans Legends and local high school and college coaches.

See Ryan Bingham – Oscar-winning American singer-songwriter, musician, and actor from the hit television series, Yellowstone – and The Texas Gentleman live at The Signal. Tickets for the Still Gettin’ Away With It Tour start at $58 and doors open at 7 p.m. with an 8 p.m. showtime.

Something BIG is coming for the Bessie Smith Cultural Center’s 2026 Big 9 Music Fest! Held in honor of the powerful legacy of music, history, and community that existed on what was once 9th Street, guests can enjoy food trucks, local vendors, and a family-friendly atmosphere while seeing live performances from popular music artists.

June 20 

Everyone is invited to celebrate unity, inclusivity, and diversity at the CommUNITY Block Party

Presented by Shop the Market At, LLC, the gathering at Coolidge Park will feature vibrant energy, a beer bar, live entertainment, and a diverse vendor and food market from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.


June 21 

Celebrate Dad and fatherly figures with live blues, great food, cold craft beer, and unique crafts and goods at The Chattanooga Market’s Father’s Day Blues & Brews event! With lunch from the local food trucks, fresh cut meats, quality cheeses, hot sauces, and more, there’s everything attendees could need to shop for or spend time with dad.

The Scenic City is coming to life as part of a worldwide celebration of music at Make Music Day Chattanooga! With concerts, jam sessions, workshops, and more to fill the local streets, parks, and venues alike, this free, city-wide event invites everyone to participate and connect through the universal language of music.

June 27 

What’s Summerween? Dust off your Halloween costume and find out at Downtown Chattanooga’s fourth annual Summerween Celebration! From 6 to 10 p.m., guests can trick-or-treat down Patten Square, participate in watermelon carving contests, shop the spooktacular vendor market, and much more.

Freestyle downstream in the Tennessee River, pedal through the historic riverfront, and then sprint through the beautiful Tennessee Riverwalk at the 44th Annual Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon!
